These programs are accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and the National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC), ensuring they meet national and international quality standards. The curriculum is structured to build a strong foundation in engineering theory, mathematics, and applied sciences in the early years, progressively moving toward specialized technical knowledge, laboratory work, design projects, and industry exposure in the later semesters. Students are required to complete a final-year project that addresses a real engineering problem, encouraging innovation and independent thinking. Throughout the program, emphasis is placed on developing analytical reasoning, teamwork, communication skills, and professional ethics. Graduates of these programs are well-equipped to pursue careers across the public and private sectors, enter postgraduate studies locally or abroad, or establish their own ventures in the engineering and technology space.
UET Admission — Guidance for Preference Selection
Basic Application Procedure:
First, candidates should print the challan form and submit the fee according to the given instructions. After fee submission, candidates must log in to the admission portal and complete the application form. Selection of program preferences is an important part of the admission process; therefore preferences should be selected very carefully. Admission to UET depends upon the preferences selected by the candidate.
Eligibility Requirements:
Admission tests are compulsory for Engineering and Computing programs, while Science and Business programs do not require an admission test. For Computing Science and Business programs, candidates must have at least 50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent qualification, whereas Engineering programs require at least 60% marks in Intermediate or equivalent qualification.
In addition, every program requires specific subjects in Intermediate or equivalent studies. Candidates who have not studied the required subjects will be considered ineligible for that program.
Candidates are advised to check their eligibility on the admission portal because admission may be cancelled at any stage if eligibility conditions are not fulfilled.
Programs and Campuses:
Candidates may select multiple programs from different campuses in a single application, provided they meet the eligibility criteria for those programs. Each program will be counted as a separate preference.
Program Categories:
UET offers different admission categories. For candidates holding Punjab domicile, A1 and A2 categories are commonly available. The fee for A1 is lower and is approximately 35% less than A2.
Candidates are advised to select all categories for which they are eligible because this increases the chances of admission. Apart from A1 and A2, other categories are also available, which candidates may choose according to their eligibility. Eligibility for these categories can be checked on the admission website.
Rules for Preference Selection:
The order of preferences is very important. Candidates should place their most preferred program and campus at the top and should not rely only on previous merit trends.
Preferences should always be selected according to personal interest and career goals, and all eligible categories should be included. During admission processing, the university first attempts to offer admission in the first preference. If admission is not possible there, the second preference is considered, and the process continues in the same order for all preferences.
Admission Allocation Procedure:
Admission is granted only in the preference where the candidate meets the required merit. Once selection is made in one preference, all lower preferences automatically expire. However, if the candidate submits the fee, they may still be considered for higher preferences in future merit lists.
Important Instructions:
Candidates are considered only for those programs and categories that they have selected. If a program is not selected, admission will not be offered in that program even if the candidate’s merit is high enough.
Fee and Document Submission:
If the fee and required documents are not submitted after selection, the candidate will be excluded from all future merit lists. Therefore, candidates are advised to choose preferences carefully and submit the fee on time.

بنیادی درخواست کا طریقہ کار
سب سے پہلے امیدواروں کو چالان فارم پرنٹ کرنا ہوگا اور دی گئی ہدایات کے مطابق فیس جمع کروانی ہوگی۔ فیس جمع کروانے کے بعد امیدواروں کو ایڈمیشن پورٹل پر لاگ ان کرکے درخواست فارم مکمل کرنا ہوگا۔ پروگرام کی ترجیحات (Preferences) کا انتخاب داخلہ کے عمل کا ایک اہم حصہ ہے، اس لیے ترجیحات بہت احتیاط سے منتخب کرنی چاہییں۔ یو ای ٹی میں داخلہ امیدوار کی منتخب کردہ ترجیحات کی بنیاد پر دیا جاتا ہے۔
اہلیت کے تقاضے:
انجینئرنگ اور کمپیوٹنگ پروگرامز کے لیے داخلہ ٹیسٹ لازمی ہے، جبکہ سائنس اور بزنس پروگرامز کے لیے داخلہ ٹیسٹ ضروری نہیں ہے۔ کمپیوٹنگ سائنس اور بزنس پروگرامز کے لیے امیدوار کے انٹرمیڈیٹ یا مساوی تعلیم میں کم از کم 50% نمبر ہونا ضروری ہے، جبکہ انجینئرنگ پروگرامز کے لیے کم از کم 60% نمبر لازمی ہیں۔
اس کے علاوہ ہر پروگرام کے لیے انٹرمیڈیٹ یا مساوی تعلیم میں مخصوص مضامین کا ہونا ضروری ہے۔ جن امیدواروں نے مطلوبہ مضامین نہیں پڑھے ہوں گے وہ اس پروگرام کے لیے اہل نہیں سمجھے جائیں گے۔
امیدواروں کو مشورہ دیا جاتا ہے کہ وہ ایڈمیشن پورٹل پر اپنی اہلیت ضرور چیک کریں کیونکہ اہلیت کی شرائط پوری نہ ہونے کی صورت میں کسی بھی مرحلے پر داخلہ منسوخ کیا جا سکتا ہے۔
پروگرامز اور کیمپسز:
امیدوار ایک ہی درخواست میں مختلف کیمپسز کے متعدد پروگرامز منتخب کر سکتے ہیں، بشرطیکہ وہ ان پروگرامز کی اہلیت پر پورا اترتے ہوں۔ ہر پروگرام کو ایک علیحدہ ترجیح (Preference) کے طور پر شمار کیا جائے گا۔
پروگرام کیٹیگریز:
یو ای ٹی مختلف داخلہ کیٹیگریز پیش کرتا ہے۔ پنجاب ڈومیسائل رکھنے والے امیدواروں کے لیے عموماً A1 اور A2 کیٹیگریز دستیاب ہوتی ہیں۔ A1 کی فیس نسبتاً کم ہوتی ہے اور یہ A2 سے تقریباً 35% کم ہے۔
امیدواروں کو مشورہ دیا جاتا ہے کہ وہ تمام وہ کیٹیگریز منتخب کریں جن کے لیے وہ اہل ہیں کیونکہ اس سے داخلے کے امکانات بڑھ جاتے ہیں۔ A1 اور A2 کے علاوہ بھی دیگر کیٹیگریز موجود ہیں جنہیں امیدوار اپنی اہلیت کے مطابق منتخب کر سکتے ہیں۔ ان کیٹیگریز کی اہلیت ایڈمیشن ویب سائٹ پر چیک کی جا سکتی ہے۔
ترجیح (Preference) منتخب کرنے کے اصول:
ترجیحات کی ترتیب بہت اہم ہے۔ امیدواروں کو اپنی سب سے پسندیدہ پروگرام اور کیمپس کو سب سے اوپر رکھنا چاہیے اور صرف گزشتہ میرٹ ٹرینڈز پر انحصار نہیں کرنا چاہیے۔
ترجیحات ہمیشہ ذاتی دلچسپی اور کیریئر اہداف کے مطابق منتخب کرنی چاہییں اور تمام اہل کیٹیگریز شامل کرنی چاہییں۔ داخلہ کے عمل کے دوران یونیورسٹی پہلے پہلی ترجیح پر داخلہ دینے کی کوشش کرتی ہے۔ اگر وہاں ممکن نہ ہو تو دوسری ترجیح پر غور کیا جاتا ہے اور یہی سلسلہ ترتیب وار جاری رہتا ہے۔
داخلہ الاٹمنٹ کا طریقہ کار:
داخلہ صرف اسی ترجیح میں دیا جاتا ہے جس میں امیدوار میرٹ پر پورا اترتا ہو۔ ایک بار کسی ترجیح میں انتخاب ہو جائے تو اس سے نیچے والی تمام ترجیحات خود بخود ختم ہو جاتی ہیں۔ تاہم اگر امیدوار فیس جمع کروا دے تو اسے آئندہ میرٹ لسٹس میں اعلیٰ ترجیحات کے لیے دوبارہ بھی دیکھا جا سکتا ہے۔
اہم ہدایات:
امیدواروں کو صرف انہی پروگرامز اور کیٹیگریز کے لیے زیر غور لایا جاتا ہے جو انہوں نے منتخب کیے ہوں۔ اگر کوئی پروگرام منتخب نہیں کیا گیا تو خواہ میرٹ کتنا بھی زیادہ ہو، اس پروگرام میں داخلہ نہیں دیا جائے گا۔
فیس اور دستاویزات کی جمع کرانا:
اگر فیس اور مطلوبہ دستاویزات انتخاب کے بعد جمع نہ کروائی جائیں تو امیدوار کو آئندہ تمام میرٹ لسٹس سے خارج کر دیا جائے گا۔ اس لیے امیدواروں کو مشورہ دیا جاتا ہے کہ ترجیحات احتیاط سے منتخب کریں اور فیس بروقت جمع کروائیں۔
اہم رہنمائی:
امیدواروں کو چاہیے کہ وہ ترجیحات دانشمندی سے منتخب کریں، تمام اہل کیٹیگریز شامل کریں، ترجیحات کی ترتیب واضح رکھیں، اور فیس اور مطلوبہ دستاویزات بروقت جمع کروائیں۔
Instruction related to Admission and Document Submission
Candidates are advised to regularly check the admission portal according to the announced schedule so they can stay updated about their merit status and admission progress.
Preparation of Required Documents:
At the time of admission, candidates must keep the following original documents ready for verification:
· CNIC / B-Form / Identity Card
· Domicile Certificate
· Matric Certificate or Equivalent Degree
· Intermediate Result Card / A&O Levels / DAE / B.Tech or Equivalent Qualification
· Any category-related documents, according to the selected category
Offer Letter Download and Reporting:
When a candidate’s name appears in the merit list, they must download the offer letter from the admission portal. It is mandatory to carefully read all instructions mentioned in the offer letter.
Candidates must appear at the designated center along with all required documents. After completion of the verification and checking process, the university will issue the fee challan and admission file.
Completion of Admission File and Fee Submission:
Candidates must complete all documents in the admission file according to the given instructions and submit the required fee before the deadline through the issued challan. Proof of fee submission must also be attached with the admission file.
Receipt Collection and Admission Confirmation:
Admission will only be considered confirmed after the candidate receives the official admission receipt. Without the receipt, admission will not be treated as finalized, and the seat may be offered to another candidate in the next merit list.
Candidates can obtain the receipt after submitting the complete admission file along with proof of fee payment before the deadline mentioned in the offer letter.
Important Note:
If a candidate fails to submit the required fee and necessary documents before the final deadline after receiving the admission offer letter, or fails to obtain the admission receipt after document submission, the admission will be considered cancelled.
Such candidates will be removed from the admission list and will not be considered in any future merit lists.

آفر لیٹر ڈاؤن لوڈ اور رپورٹنگ:
جب کسی امیدوار کا نام میرٹ لسٹ میں آ جائے تو اسے داخلہ پورٹل سے آفر لیٹر ڈاؤن لوڈ کرنا ہوگا۔ آفر لیٹر میں دی گئی تمام ہدایات کو غور سے پڑھنا لازمی ہے۔
امیدواروں کو مقررہ مرکز پر تمام مطلوبہ دستاویزات کے ساتھ حاضر ہونا ہوگا۔ تصدیق اور جانچ پڑتال کے بعد یونیورسٹی فیس چالان اور داخلہ فائل جاری کرے گی۔
داخلہ فائل کی تکمیل اور فیس جمع کرانا:
امیدواروں کو داخلہ فائل میں تمام دستاویزات دی گئی ہدایات کے مطابق مکمل کرنی ہوں گی اور جاری کردہ چالان کے ذریعے مقررہ تاریخ سے پہلے مطلوبہ فیس جمع کرانی ہوگی۔ فیس جمع کروانے کا ثبوت بھی داخلہ فائل کے ساتھ منسلک کرنا ہوگا۔
رسید کا حصول اور داخلہ کی تصدیق:
داخلہ صرف اس وقت حتمی تصور کیا جائے گا جب امیدوار کو یونیورسٹی کی جانب سے باضابطہ داخلہ رسید موصول ہو جائے۔ رسید کے بغیر داخلہ مکمل تصور نہیں کیا جائے گا اور نشست اگلی میرٹ لسٹ میں کسی اور امیدوار کو دی جا سکتی ہے۔
امیدوار مقررہ آخری تاریخ سے پہلے مکمل داخلہ فائل اور فیس کی ادائیگی کے ثبوت جمع کرانے کے بعد رسید حاصل کر سکتے ہیں۔
اہم نوٹ:
اگر کوئی امیدوار آفر لیٹر ملنے کے بعد مقررہ آخری تاریخ سے پہلے مطلوبہ فیس اور ضروری دستاویزات جمع نہیں کرواتا، یا دستاویزات جمع کروانے کے بعد داخلہ رسید حاصل کرنے میں ناکام رہتا ہے تو اس کا داخلہ منسوخ تصور کیا جائے گا۔
ایسے امیدواروں کو داخلہ لسٹ سے خارج کر دیا جائے گا اور وہ آئندہ کسی بھی میرٹ لسٹ میں شامل نہیں ہوں گے۔
Preference Change (For Candidates Who Have Already Submitted Admission Fee and Documents)
Eligibility for Preference Change:
Candidates who have secured admission in any department up to the fourth merit list and have completely submitted their admission fee and required documents will be eligible to apply for a change of preferences or department through the admission portal. In case of submitting a new request, all previous preferences of the candidate will automatically be cancelled except for the department in which the candidate has already secured admission.
Fee Submission and Application Process:
Candidates are required to deposit a challan fee of Rs. 1500 within the prescribed schedule. After fee submission, candidates must log in to the admission portal and submit their application online. Only one preference addition or modification will be allowed.
Seat Availability and Merit Criteria:
The portal will display only those departments in which seats are available and for which the candidate meets the merit criteria. However, seat availability may change due to withdrawal of other candidates.
Important Merit Policy:
It should be clearly understood that submitting a preference request within the given time and meeting the closing merit of the fourth merit list does not guarantee admission in the desired department. All applications will be considered strictly on merit basis.
Separate Merit List for Preference Change:
A separate merit list for preference changes will be issued on the admission portal according to the schedule after the application deadline. The closing merit of this list may be higher than the fourth merit list because it depends on the number of applicants and the availability of seats in each department.
Candidates Not Selected:
Candidates who are not selected due to limited seats or higher merit of other applicants will continue to retain their admission in the department allotted under the fourth merit list.

فیس جمع کرانے اور درخواست کا طریقہ کار:
امیدواروں کو مقررہ شیڈول کے اندر 1500 روپے فیس جمع کرانی ہوگی۔ فیس جمع کروانے کے بعد امیدواروں کو داخلہ پورٹل پر لاگ ان کرکے آن لائن درخواست جمع کرانی ہوگی۔ صرف ایک بار ترجیح (Preference) میں اضافہ یا تبدیلی کی اجازت ہوگی۔
سیٹوں کی دستیابی اور میرٹ کا معیار:
پورٹل پر صرف وہی شعبے ظاہر کیے جائیں گے جن میں سیٹیں دستیاب ہوں گی اور جن کے لیے امیدوار میرٹ کے معیار پر پورا اترتا ہو۔ تاہم، سیٹوں کی دستیابی دوسرے امیدواروں کے داخلہ واپس لینے کی وجہ سے تبدیل ہو سکتی ہے۔
اہم میرٹ پالیسی:
یہ واضح طور پر سمجھنا ضروری ہے کہ مقررہ وقت کے اندر ترجیح میں تبدیلی کی درخواست جمع کروانا اور چوتھی میرٹ لسٹ کے اختتامی میرٹ پر پورا اترنا مطلوبہ شعبے میں داخلے کی ضمانت نہیں دیتا۔ تمام درخواستوں کا فیصلہ مکمل طور پر میرٹ کی بنیاد پر کیا جائے گا۔
ترجیحات کی تبدیلی کے لیے علیحدہ میرٹ لسٹ:
ترجیحات میں تبدیلی کے لیے ایک علیحدہ میرٹ لسٹ داخلہ پورٹل پر شیڈول کے مطابق درخواستوں کی آخری تاریخ کے بعد جاری کی جائے گی۔ اس لسٹ کا اختتامی میرٹ چوتھی میرٹ لسٹ سے زیادہ ہو سکتا ہے کیونکہ یہ درخواست دہندگان کی تعداد اور ہر شعبے میں دستیاب سیٹوں پر منحصر ہوگا۔
وہ امیدوار جو منتخب نہیں ہو سکے:
وہ امیدوار جو محدود سیٹوں یا دوسرے امیدواروں کے زیادہ میرٹ کی وجہ سے منتخب نہیں ہو سکے، وہ چوتھی میرٹ لسٹ کے تحت دیے گئے اپنے موجودہ داخلے کو برقرار رکھیں گے۔
Leftover Candidates (Candidates Who Could Not Apply Earlier or Could Not Secure Admission)
Eligibility for Leftover Admission Opportunity:
Candidates who could not apply earlier, could not secure admission because of their selected preferences, failed to report after their name appeared in the merit list, or failed to obtain the admission receipt will be given another opportunity if vacant seats are available. This process will begin after completion of the previous admission process.
Challan Generation and Fee Submission:
Candidates will have to generate a challan according to their status from the admission portal and submit it within the prescribed time. Existing candidates will pay Rs. 1500 while new candidates will pay Rs. 3000.
Preference Addition Process:
After fee submission, candidates can log in to the portal and add only one preference, provided seats are available in that department and the candidate’s merit falls within the closing merit of the fourth merit list.
Merit List for Leftover Candidates:
After submission of applications, a separate merit list for leftover candidates will be issued according to the announced schedule. The closing merit of this list may be higher than the fourth merit list.
Final Admission Formalities:
Selected candidates will have to submit the fee and report to the university within the prescribed period so that all admission formalities may be completed.

چالان جنریشن اور فیس جمع کرانے کا طریقہ کار:
امیدواروں کو داخلہ پورٹل سے اپنی حیثیت کے مطابق چالان جنریٹ کرنا ہوگا اور مقررہ وقت کے اندر جمع کرانا ہوگا۔ موجودہ امیدوار 1500 روپے جبکہ نئے امیدوار 3000 روپے فیس ادا کریں گے۔
ترجیح (Preference) شامل کرنے کا طریقہ:
فیس جمع کرانے کے بعد امیدوار پورٹل میں لاگ ان کرکے صرف ایک ترجیح (Preference) شامل کر سکتے ہیں، بشرطیکہ متعلقہ شعبے میں سیٹیں دستیاب ہوں اور امیدوار کا میرٹ چوتھی میرٹ لسٹ کے اختتامی میرٹ کے اندر آتا ہو۔
خالی نشستوں کے امیدواروں کے لیے میرٹ لسٹ:
درخواستیں جمع ہونے کے بعد خالی نشستوں کے لیے امیدواروں کی ایک علیحدہ میرٹ لسٹ جاری کی جائے گی، جو اعلان کردہ شیڈول کے مطابق ہوگی۔ اس لسٹ کا اختتامی میرٹ چوتھی میرٹ لسٹ سے زیادہ ہو سکتا ہے۔
حتمی داخلہ کارروائی:
منتخب امیدواروں کو مقررہ مدت کے اندر فیس جمع کرانی ہوگی اور یونیورسٹی میں رپورٹ کرنا ہوگا تاکہ تمام داخلہ کارروائی مکمل کی جا سکے۔
Walk-in Admissions
Introduction to Walk-in Admissions:
If some seats remain vacant even after completion of all admission phases, the process of walk-in admissions will be started to fill those seats. This process will continue for a maximum of three weeks after the commencement of classes or until all seats are filled.
Application Submission Process:
Interested candidates will have to submit an online application through the admission portal according to the announced schedule and generate a challan fee according to their status.
Fee Structure:
Existing candidates will pay Rs. 1500 while new candidates will pay Rs. 3000. The fee must be deposited in the designated bank.
Validity of Application:
After fee submission, the application will remain valid for one week.
Merit List Announcement:
Every Friday night, a list of selected candidates will be displayed on the admission portal. Selected candidates must submit the fee and report to the university within the prescribed time so that all admission formalities can be completed.
Reapplication Process:
If a candidate is not selected within one week, the application will expire, and the candidate will have to apply again and submit the fee for the following week. This process will continue on a weekly basis for a maximum of three weeks, provided seats are available.
Important Note:
Submission of an application does not guarantee admission. Admission depends entirely on merit and seat availability.
واک اِن (Walk-in) داخلہ کا تعارف:
اگر تمام داخلہ مراحل مکمل ہونے کے بعد بھی کچھ نشستیں خالی رہ جائیں تو ان نشستوں کو پر کرنے کے لیے واک اِن داخلہ کا عمل شروع کیا جائے گا۔ یہ عمل کلاسز کے آغاز کے بعد زیادہ سے زیادہ تین ہفتوں تک یا تمام نشستیں بھرنے تک جاری رہے گا۔
درخواست جمع کرانے کا طریقہ کار:
دلچسپی رکھنے والے امیدواروں کو داخلہ پورٹل کے ذریعے اعلان کردہ شیڈول کے مطابق آن لائن درخواست جمع کرانی ہوگی اور اپنی حیثیت کے مطابق چالان جنریٹ کرنا ہوگا۔
فیس کا نظام:
موجودہ امیدوار 1500 روپے جبکہ نئے امیدوار 3000 روپے فیس ادا کریں گے۔ فیس مقررہ بینک میں جمع کرانی لازمی ہوگی۔
درخواست کی میعاد:
فیس جمع کروانے کے بعد درخواست ایک ہفتے تک مؤثر رہے گی۔
میرٹ لسٹ کا اعلان:
ہر جمعہ کی رات منتخب امیدواروں کی فہرست داخلہ پورٹل پر ظاہر کی جائے گی۔ منتخب امیدواروں کو مقررہ وقت کے اندر فیس جمع کرانی ہوگی اور یونیورسٹی میں رپورٹ کرنا ہوگا تاکہ تمام داخلہ کارروائی مکمل کی جا سکے۔
دوبارہ درخواست دینے کا طریقہ کار:
